The wrinkle cream graveyard is what they talk about in this video for Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair. Ain't that the truth! Using this product and any other personal care product that is not organic and certified ToxicFree® It has been proven that the ingredients in this product cause harm to the body.
Let's examine these ingredients. This is directly from their website.

1. Avobenzone
appears to be relatively non-toxic and non-irritating to the skin. However, because it is often used in conjunction with photo-stabilizers, there is a greater risk for skin irritation and low-level toxicity. Furthermore, some studies have demonstrated it to be absorbed by the body and secreted into urine, and is therefore not recommended to use on children or pregnant women. Some skin specialists believe it to be just as harmful as PABA, and certain studies suggest that the ingredient behaves similarly to the hormone estrogen; however, theSCCNFP has gone on to negate the latter mentioned claim for chemical sunscreen actives in general.
2. Octocrylene
Although there is evidence that octocrylene is responsible for reproductive toxicity, the trials used doses far higher than would be used in cosmetics. That doesn't mean to say that they aren't dangers, only that we don't really know.
Octocrylene can penetrate into the skin and act as a photosensitizer, resulting in an increased production of free radicals. Free radicals can induce indirect DNA damage and potentially contribute to the increased incidence of malignant melanoma in sunscreen-users compared to non-users. Although this might theoretically apply to other sunscreens, the study that made this conclusion refers only to octocrylene.
Another reason to reconsider octocrylene, is that it has been found in fish. According to a Swiss study, it is quick to biodegrade and then bioaccumulate. The few fish we have left on the planet should probably go as chemical free as possible.
1. Polysorbate 20-80
(often contaminated with ethylene oxide, 1,4-dioxane) Function: emulsifier, de-foamer, to create creaminess without separation. Hazards: may cause adverse reproductive effects, cancer & mutations based on animal testing. Inside: vitamins, soaps, shampoos, creams, food, etc. Essanté Organics only uses Mother Nature's ingredients to create rich creaminess, organically.
2. Caprylyl Glycol
Glycol - often used as solvents for preservatives and other materials. Glycols are potentially irritating and harmful to the skin. Function: petroleum based thickeners & penetration enhancers to add creaminess.Hazards: carcinogen, systemic toxicity, linked to lymphatic, breast, brain cancers.
Examples are Propylene, Butylene, Pentylene, Hexylene, and Caprylyl Glycol. Laureth family - sodium lauryl sulfate, any ingredient with laureth or lauryl in the name.
3. C13-14 Isoparaffin
is a mixture of hydrocarbons (mineral oils) derived from petroleum, and is used in cosmetics and personal care products primarily as an emollient, and also considered a thickening agent or gelling ingredient (FaceProducts-Online). Little additional information is available regarding C13-14 Isoparaffin, and isoparaffins are simply defined as gelling or thickening agents; petroleum is a known moisturizer.Safety Measures/Side Effects of C13-14 Isoparaffin:According to Marta's post about Aquaphor and Petroleum Safety, "certain impurities may be in the petrolatum and they can cause allergies and even be a carcinogen. Cosmetics should use highly refined petroleum that has been cleaned of these impurities."
4. Fragrance
Fragrance (Perfume or Parfum) Function: Create a strong scent, term used to hide 4,000+ toxins under the guise of trade secrets. Hazards: carcinogens, endocrine disruptors, birth defects, neurotoxins, head pain, respiratory damage. Inside: colognes & strongly scented bath, kitchen & laundry products. Essanté Organics uses organic fruits & essential oils to create divinely scented products.

I think, I will stop there! Please remember what we put on our skin can penetrate our skin and go into the bloodstream and circulate through our organs and build up over time causing illness. Look for Certified Organic and Toxicfree products.
One last thing.... Look at the first ingredient. If it is water you are getting a watered down product! Look for aloe or green tea. These absorb 4 times better into the skin and deliver the good ingredients to do their job. With water as the first ingredient you're not getting the maximum absorption you need to get those ingredients into your skin which in these case might be good. Still not worth the risk or the waste of your hard earn money.
Most of my information came from https://www.truthinaging.com/ & www.ewg/skindeep
Looking for a Organic & Toxicfree skin care line after you just read all that graveyard information? This is what I recommend.
Have a blessed day my friends. Be well, live well!
